But today, the real added value lies in the ability to combine metal with other materials, such as wood or glass, to create innovative, functional and aesthetically refined solutions.
These include Primo Tex, a project that represents the perfect encounter between metal and wood, thanks to the vision of the 967Arch architectural studio, led by architects Cesare Chichi and Stefano Maestri.
Primo Tex embodies a play of contrasts that creates balance between two apparently distant worlds: on the one hand, metal, known for its strength and its role in office furniture; on the other, dyed fibre wood, a material that evokes warmth and comfort, more typical of the domestic environment.
As Architect Chichi emphasises, 'this is an innovative product whose potential has not yet been fully explored. The effect sought was to contrast the solidity of metal with the material softness of pulp-dyed fibre wood, achieving a unique visual and sensory harmony'.
The combination of metal and other materials allows for versatile customisation that combines practicality and style, creating functional and aesthetically appealing furniture for offices, homes and contract spaces.
