It is abandoning the idea of making remote working structural, and Big Tech will invest $7 billion in 2021 in real estate to bring employees back to the brand's headquarters. 'Meeting in person to collaborate and build a community', this is the goal at Google in the coming months thanks also to the progress of the vaccination campaign in the United States. A trend that also seems to be confirmed by the American merchant banks (JpMorgan, Citi, Goldman Sachs) that will bring employees back to the office by the summer, while still allowing the application of employment contracts that also provide for remote activities. This really opens up a new era for smart working that will enable us to progressively abandon home working. We will bring a new idea of domesticity to the offices we will inhabit again.
